Welcome to veryverygay.com. We're glad you're here; we hope you enjoy your stay and attempt to make your hate mail grammatically correct. (Or, if that's asking too much, lay off on the toggle caps. Thanks.)

Where did all this come from?

It all began when a certain VVG.com member got really fed up with certain aspects of internet fandom, and created a parody website. That website was called "Elijah Wood is Very Very Gay." While she knew the site would elicit some negative reaction, it really was just an in-jokey, sardonic effort.

Well, it elicited negative reaction, all right. The targets of the parody were not amused, and neither were Elijah's legions of homophobic teenaged fans. To this day, the EWIVVG guestbook and email box are crammed with poorly-written missives slinging homophobic slurs.

Word of EWIVVG spread like the flu at a daycare centre. To be sure, much of the feedback has been positive; many people do, in fact, get it, and EWIVVG has brought much joy and laughter to them. Almost as much as it does to us here at vvg.com. Seriously. Have you read the guestbook? You can't buy entertainment like that. (We especially like it when the flamers get into fights amongst themselves.)

When a VVG.com member purchased the domain, we realized that we weren't really interested in validating the silliness that is EWIVVG by giving it its very own domain and expanded website. So that's why we've brought you some other tasty content -- MSTs, parody fiction, and other fun things.

This begs the question, we realize, who are we?

Well, we are a collective of people who happen to have similar interests and similar senses of humour. Before you make any assumptions about us, let it be known:

• We are not all female

• We are not all heterosexual.

• We have jobs and otherwise occupying lives. veryverygay.com members have a wide variety of occupations, including lawyer, biologist, journalist, and digital animator.

Again, we do hope you enjoy your stay. Leave your comments in the guesbook or email us (shoutout @ veryverygay.com).

Keep it gay.
